Initiative. Innovation. Integrity. Using these and other traditional values, Patrona Corporation has built the foundation of a business specializing in providing professional support services to the U.S. government and military. Support initiatives are only one of our focuses; we believe in the value of offering multi-dimensional solutions to meet our client’s needs. To achieve this, we combine the experience of our own staff with that of our strategic alliance partners, allowing us to tender additional services related to business telecommunications, contract management, information technology, internet development, technical documentation, and training.
Though Patrona as a corporation is a relative newcomer to the network of organizations supporting the U.S. government and military, our staff certainly is not. Combined, we bring nearly 100 years of U.S. Navy and shipyard-related experience, including work supporting NAVSEA Headquarters to include: SSN21 SEAWOLF Program Office; SSN (774) VIRGINIA Class Program Office; OHIO Class Guided Missile Nuclear Submarine (SSGN) Program Office. Our team also brings extensive backgrounds in program management, strategic planning and implementation, technical and engineering services, logistics support, quality management, and operational planning.
Patrona achieved a key milestone when we partnered with prime contractor EG&G to become a part of the Navy’s SeaPort contractor program. This partnership pre-qualified the corporation to compete for NAVSEA contract work. Another benchmark was reached when Patrona received its first task order, under which we were designated to lead the establishment of a strategic management team for the U.S. Navy’s Sub Team One (ST1) program. ST1’s goals include using process improvement, technological advances, and knowledge sharing to reduce submarine maintenance costs and return operational days to the fleet. Our past experience in support of NAVSEA submarine programs, along with our plan to use initiative and innovation to help maintain the U.S. submarine fleet’s integrity, prepositions Patrona for success.
